Surface Machining of Composite Panels: Precision V-Grooving for Architectural Cassettes
What is V-Grooving?
V-Grooving is a specialized surface machining process where a V-shaped groove is routed on the back of the composite panel. By leaving the outer 0.5 mm aluminum skin intact, the panel can be folded into a 3D cassette with perfectly sharp and durable corners.
